What is this worsening of women’s value on music video clips and movies? It’s so annoying. There is so much emphasis on physical appearance. Just watch movies from the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, up until now, and we can see the difference. I’ve only been alive for twenty years (two) and the movies of only the 90′s are very different from the one in the 00′s.
There was this article about a mum who gave her daughter a lipo voucher. After reading that article it’s clear that she is teaching her daughter that her only value is in her body (read article for more).
“I think it’s great because you can change yourself if you’re not happy,” Poppy said in a video interview that aired on daytime talk show “The Doctors.”
Hm… what could possibly make her not happy? I wonder…
I also realize that the physical appearance is mentioned first in a lot of conversations about girls in movies.

“She is cute and nice”
Well than I’m sexy and devoted to God. And I’m proud of it. I don’t have to show any of my body except to my family, whom I should really be beautiful for. Thank you.

omg! i totally agree with you. movies these days are so indecent and materialistic. I prefer watching something from past rather than the latest hits.
